In the 80's while getting into the work of Grandmaster Flash, Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarré, he met a friends older brother who, returning from Goa, India, told tales of strange electronic music and showed off a few classic pieces of gear. Things were getting interesting! About 7 years later, in 1994, the urge to travel brought experience after experience, a musical journey, places like Goa, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin, Ibiza, Cape Town, London, Melbourne, touring from festival to festival. Highlights include performing at Solar Eclipse gatherings, seeing his collaborative works released on various labels, and eventually being offered a Sony/BMG contract. Jeremy attended the SAE School of Audio Engineering in Melbourne, Australia in 2002. The foundation for Mothership Mastering was laid upon his return to Sweden. Following an internship at Music-A-Matic studio the decision was made to form a company. Starseed Industries AB consists of the Pro Audio equipment sales division Starseed Audio, and the Mothership Mastering studio. The company was founded in 2006, after years searching for the right location, and reformed as a corporation in 2011. Considerable time and energy has gone into sourcing and restoring the rare equipment, and constructing the mastering room itself. In 2008 we announced the official opening of the Mothership Studio. |
