New Mastering Gear
New equipment has been installed at the studio, including two 1970's Siemens EQ with
really sweet curves and a Rock Ruepel tube mastering compressor. Ask us if you have
been wanting one for your studio, we are authorized dealers. More vintage gear is on its
way as well; a pair of curved EMI/Painton faders as used on the Abbey Road desks, an
EMT 266 master limiter, which back when it was made cost 20 000 marks, or 10 000 € in
todays currency. What else, ah, yes...the Studer C37 is now fitted with fresh stereo heads
and electronics, and has all NOS tubes. To augment our digital tool box, we have added
a UAD-2 Duo card with the Manley Massive Passive EQ (and EMT-140 reverb).

Another recent aquisition is the stunning hand built Electronaut M63 tube pre amp,
an item we will be selling in our webshop Starseed Audio. We just got a message
from Chicago saying it has now been built and is shipping on thursday. It comes in
a really cool case and will make its way around to studios in Sweden who are
interested in owning one. Sound investments are vital in todays world, and audio
equipment which can retain its resale value is rare.
This has been part of our concept since day one.
